Description
Anyar plans to hire 3 - 4 Software Developers/Engineers over the next 2 - 3 months on a diverse set of projects in our Beavercreek, OH location with an emphasis on DevOps, DevSecOps, Docker/AWS, Software Architectures/Libraries, and application of these skills to Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A).
Job Details
Candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, principally software development using defined C++, Python, and scripting APIs to create novel software architectures/applications using Dev*Ops practices that will enable mission and engagement level simulations. The simulations will be integrated into government owned MS&A environments/architectures. We need individuals who can excel in a team environment while working remote or in an office environment and are eager to expand their software engineering skills.
The candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team conducting software development, integration, and testing of software architectures, products, components, GUIs, and APIs. BS in Computer Science desired, although a combination of degrees and experience will be considered. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance, pursuant to 32 CFR 117.10. Accordingly, all applicants must be United States citizens, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities
- Software development in C++, Python, and scripting languages
- Design, develop, integrate, modify, test, and execute MS&A applications/architectures to detect software bugs, record results, and analyze output for correctness
- Develop adequate depth and breadth of testing to identify and report the cause of testing failures
- Develop using agile practices
- Applicant must be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, and be ready to learn
- Familiarity with SQL Databases including import/export/querying/updating tables in databases
- Working with Atlassian/Jira/Git/GitLab/AzureDevOps/AWS for project coordination/planning
- B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant engineering degrees
- 1 - 3 years software development experience
- Ability to work with SQL databases
- Basic understanding of the software development process: requirements, design, construction, testing, debugging, deployment, maintenance
- Experience using the Agile development process a plus
- Experience using some form of versioning software like Subversion, Git or CVS
- Ability to work with members of a team and independently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and articulate ideas verbally and written
